*Special Fundraising Request & Announcement* – Your Help Needed & Additional Fundraising Incentives!

Happy Aloha Thursday Saint Mark Parents,

Now that we are approximately half of the way through our Fun Run Fundraiser, I am reaching out to personally encourage your support of this important endeavor. This Fun Run is Saint Mark’s only major school fundraiser and 100% of the proceeds go directly in support of Saint Mark’s programs and facilities. Last year’s donations helped fund the new security fence/gates fronting the campus.

As a way to help support this year’s fundraising efforts, Saint Mark is excited to be providing extra incentives as we work together toward meeting our goal of $70,000 (with 100% participation)!  We are currently tracking behind last year’s numbers, so we are hoping these incentives help encourage increased participation.

ADDITIONAL FUNRAISER INCENTIVES:

(1) FREE DRESS DAY
Every class which meets its $300 per student goal (which is simply the number of students in the class multiplied by $300) or who has 100% participation (every student in the class participates) will receive a Free Dress Day on Friday, September 26.

(2) CLASS PIZZA PARTY or CLASS TREAT BAG
Additionally, the Top 3 students in the school (who raise a minimum of $1,250) will win a pizza lunch for their entire class which will be personally delivered and served by Mr. Markillie and yours truly!  If one of the top 3 students comes from our ELC, the entire ELC class will receive a special treat bag (instead of the pizza) delivered by Mr. Markillie and Dr. Gaudi.

(3) WATER BALLOON TOSS (at Dr. Gaudi & Mr. Markillie)!!!
We have one final and exciting incentive! If the school manages to meet the goal of $70,000, the top two individual earners from each class will be given four water balloons to toss/throw at Dr. Gaudi (two balloons) and Mr. Markillie (two balloons). If we can raise $70,000, this “all school” event will take place on the last day of the quarter Friday, October 3.

Fun Run Day is on Friday, September 19, so there is still plenty of time to collect donations and meet our goals!  We can do it!
